Little Chef!

Elise has been a wonderful little helper in the kitchen lately.  One of our weekend rituals when daddy doesn’t have to work is Father-Daughter pancakes in the morning.

First things first…get the pans out, get Elise prepped (with her colourful smock) and get the pancake batter out.

Next…we test to make sure the consistency of the pancake mix is JUST RIGHT…

Then we add our blueberries and raspberries (and if I’m lucky a handful of chocolate chips!)

Once we got it perfect…we test it just ONE more time before scooping it onto the hot pan!

And the BEST PART of making Pancakes…CLEAN UP!!!

Now what am I supposed to do with this BIG HAND???

MmmMMm…the finished product is soooo delicious…but I just can’t resist going back to finish up with some “clean up”!

Not only can I make pancakes…I’m making RICE too! Who knows…maybe one day I’ll be able to make some A1 General Tso Chicken like Nai nai and yeh yeh!
