Happy 2 Year Birthday Elise!

A couple days ago we celebrated Elise’s 2nd birthday…wow..cannot believe it has been 2 years already!

Hey guys…I know it’s my sis’s birthday…but can’t I just steal SOME of the lime-light? I’m ever SO cute!

Here she goes, 3…2…1 make a wish!!

I got my wish! Eleana Po Po (Aunt Tracy’s Mom) took me to get my ears pierced…and I didn’t even cry!

Happy Birthday Elise! And thank you to all the uncles and aunties, and grandpas and grandmas who have shown so much love to Elise and our family these past 2 years!  We praise God for the support we have received from you all and would not have been able to do this without you guys!

Another beautiful day with our beautiful ladies! Thanks to Uncle Aaron and Auntie Mindy for the matching outfits! (we loved them so much we couldn’t wait ‘til they were older, so we got matching ones for ALL the cousins!)

We’re at a beautiful park on a bright sunny day…and still, the girls’ activity of choice would have been the iPad if we let them, look at that smile! Apple…you are evil!

Abby: Oh, hi Lauren Jieh Jieh…you’ve come to join me too..AHHHH!!! HELP!

After a long day at the park (really it lasted about 45 minutes before the kids started getting too hot and hungry and sick and tired of dad taking photos)…Yeh Yeh really did enjoy a nice shiatsu massage!

And then there were 4 Wangs a Walkin’.

And to end off the day, we had a nice little treat at good ol’ Mc’D’s!

Can you figure out if Abby’s head shrunk, or the fry container grew???

Busy and Fun-filled Week

Yesterday, everyone went to the Waterloo Park Zoo. 

While Natalie & Lauren went to look at the animals, Elise decided to play with the sand instead.

Abby enjoyed the zoo too, especially being held by Yeh-Yeh.

Then we went to get passport photos done.  It was quite difficult getting Elise to stop smiling and opening her mouth.  Abby was super cooperative by staying awake and opening her eyes.

(Silly passport photo rules, don’t you know KIDS ARE CUTEST WHEN THEY SMILE?!!)

Today the girls went to the Little Explorers program, this time it was outdoors to learn about the properties of water.

Elise, Natalie & Lauren watch a demonstration on surface tension using milk, food coloring and dish soap.

Below is a video of all the different stations with experiments for water. Natalie jieh jieh is quite the brilliant little explorer…our daughter…well…you always know how to fill mom and dad with joy and laughter!

Hello Cousins!

Elise’s cousins Natalie & Lauren came back to Canada for the summer.  We all went as a family to airport to welcome them and their cousins back!

Elise has fun and waits patiently for everyone arrive while Abby sleeps through all the commotion.

Welcome to Canada!

In our effort to help the girls adjust to our time zone, we kept their morning packed with activities at the Early Years Centre.  Natalie cooked in the kitchen while Elise showed Lauren to the gym.

Later, Elise and Lauren went to spend time in the classroom sharing toys, playing with water and singing songs at circle time. 

Then, a quick snack before we head home for some much needed rest!
