This past weekend we went to Toronto and got a chance to hang out along the lake shore.
Hey, where did everybody go? And why am I sitting on this big ROCK all by myself?

Another beautiful day in Toronto…(too bad we got stuck in traffic on the way home, stupid 401…good thing I can’t drive yet!)
Elise has been learning lots this past month
May 24 - She’s learned how to do a war cry on her own now
June 9 - She’s said her first word (actually associating word to object…occasionally)
June 13 - She’s discovered her gag reflex (WARNING - not for the faint-hearted)
June 16 - What she hasn’t learned yet is how to express her emotions consistently…she gets confused sometimes when she’s tired and needing a nap.
Yesterday, Elise finally got a chance to enjoy our church’s FREE annual street carnival (last year, she was only in the belly).
Thanks Cindy for painting her face! You did such an amazing job being so flexible creatively!
Our original intention was a tiny butterfly and flower on each cheek but because Elise was so wiggly and kept trying to eat the brush, the butterfly got got HUGE and the flower turned into a sun.
We had to occupy her with a rice cracker snack.
Since Elise was too young for most of the games and rides, we spent the most of our time eating free food: kettle corn, hot dogs (she got the bun), ice cream; and hanging out in the toddler bouncy play area.
At first, she was a little nervous…
but after some more snacks…
she felt right at home (except with the tall ppl).
By the end, she was exhausted from all the fun!
Can’t wait until next year though! Hopefully you’ll be able to join us =D
As you can see, Elise had a little difficulty using the walker in the beginning!
But now that she’s gotten used to it and zipping around everywhere…
…she’s practicing her next milestone, standing and going on “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”.

Gong Gong was visiting this past weekend and we got to enjoy hanging out a bunch!
There was the Farmer’s Market on a sunny day! Nice sunglasses Gong Gong…I usually eat mine!
And then we were at the Cambridge Mall…uhmm…Gong Gong, we’re inside now, why are you still wearing your SUNglasses?
Then we spent lots of time just hanging out at home too!
First I got some help standing up…then Gong Gong made sure my hair was pretty…and I’m OFF! Catch me if you can!
