Look how much Elise has grown there has been so much change in the past 8 months!

Mom and dad are pretty cool people!  They usually keep me pretty happy and entertained!

One of dad’s favourite games is eating me…he says my ears are the tastiest parts.

Usually I forgive him and like to snuggle up against him afterwards…pleading for for him to stop!

One-Eyed Monster

Elise actually doesn’t do this anymore but she used to like to peek out to see us using only one of her eyes.  We loved it and going through older pictures, thought we’d post a few!

Crawling!

It’s amazing to see how quickly babies learn.  Within a week and 4 days Elise went from flopping at objects to zipping across the room for what she wants. 

It’s so humbling to watch God’s creation learn and grow on their own, because really as parents…we’ve had very little to do with reaching this milestone…and to think of the many more to come where we have only to trust…and watch “quietly” from the sidelines.

Swim Date

So we finally had ourselves a little play date with her friend Hannah.  It was Elise’s first time in the floatation device so she not smiling like usual.  But look how much both girls have grown now.  Time is flying for all the parents!

 

We’ve been take Elise swimming a lot more often lately and so she’s gotten much more relaxed in the water – very comfortable now with all the people and echoing noises.

Blue Mountain
