Elise has been working hard these past 2.5 weeks developing her motor skills! In the video clip below you can see her progression from when she used to go around in circles until she gets close enough to object that she wants to actually getting on her knees and rocking.
Today, she is able to get something if it’s within a couple of reaching/falling attempts.
Soon, we’re going to have a moving machine!
Elise has really become quite the interactive little princess. She seems to be “understanding” what it means to play and anticipate things now…making it quite interesting and funny to play with her!
Here, she really starts to anticipate when my hand is gonna be tapping her mouth and even makes different intonations to try out what her voice can sound like.

Back when we were in B.C. over the holidays, Po-Po tried to teach Elise to go potty in the toilet…

Yesterday however, Elise and Mommy tried again.
At first, a little tentitive…
But with some work… we got ourselves 3 big surprises…

Note: Elise went again just now as I was about to post. Here’s hoping it’s not a fluke and we’ll have less messy diapers to clean from now on!
Sorry our updates have been slower lately. Our little family got sick and taken down one by one. Alex is okay now, I’m on the road to recovery and baby Elise finally kicked one bug for 2 days before succumbing to another one.
