Sitting…but not for very long…

So Elise has started to sit up…sort of by herself…she’ll usually sit for a bit…

…and then eventually, as she tries to shift her weight, she’ll topple over TIMBERRRRR! (don’t worry folks, we are very mindful parents…always near by…with a  camera in hand!)

But see…she gets herself back up to push-up position quite easily and happily!

And rather enjoys sitting with her bunny puppet friend.

For a brief period of time at least…

Ok, NOT happy here guys…DAD?…Mommy?! ok that’s it…I’m gonna barf!

A solitary tear trickles down my face…nobody understands me!

Jolly Jumper Time!

So, Elise has been loving her new found leg muscles for the past couple months now…and we’ve finally got some videos and pictures to show for it! 

 

Working with Hands

Here’s Elise learning to coordinate her hands so well!  First she’s grabbing and learning what she can do by pulling (it’s a little shaking spider/porcupine/bug thing on her playmat) and then see how she tries to grab at the water stream…but is a bit confused/amazed at the fact that she can’t fully grasp it!
