Snow Princess

We went to Auntie Xiomara & Uncle Rob’s wedding this past weekend and couldn’t help but snap a few photos before driving into Toronto.

Elise is such a happy girl – just look at the smile on her face!

Here she is in the beautiful new coat that Auntie Cynthia bought just for the special day.

And of course, you can’t be a snow princess without the snow.

During the wedding, we hit the photo booth for some family pics with silly props.

 

And then, Elise became THE PROP for everyone else!

Congratulations Xiomara and Rob! We love you guys and thanks for having us celebrate with you on this beautiful occasion! 

Little Chatter Box

Elise has really become quite the little chatter box since she has been back from Vancouver!  She has also been giving us good nights of sleep…sleeping up to 9 hours in a night at a time!!!

However…our strategy is usually to try and “overstimulate” her in the few hours before bed time to keep her awake so she will sleep through the night, and for some reason…this had backfired on us a couple nights ago.

She would literally wake up every couple hours…not crying…but talking…to herself!! hahah! The middle few videos/sounds were taken in the dark…not sure if she was “sleep talking” but if she takes after dad, then the answer would be yes!

Trip to Vancouver

Elise and I left for a 10 day trip to Vancouver to visit family and friends.  It was Elise’s first time flying on an airplane.  For a baby who doesn’t like the pacifier, she did really well!

 

There wasn’t much crying at all.  Elise slept most of the way which makes mommy VERY happy.

Once in B.C. we went to see Tai Po-Po (Great-grandma).

 

Tai Po-Po even carried Elise and sang her little songs – such a lucky girl!

Elise got spend lots of time with Gong Gong…

While in Vancouver, Elise finally figured out how to roll back-to-front….

…watched lots of T.V. …

…learned to play mah-jong…

…and danced on the tables.

Finally, it was time to come home and see daddy.  Hard to say who missed each other more!

Music and Movement!

Every Tuesday for the past couple of weeks, mommy has been taking Elise to an early years centre for something called “Music and Movement”.  It’s a half hour filled with music and dancing with babies and mommies…until today…when creeper daddy came along with his video camera and was the only adult male there…creepy…anyways…here are some clippits of some of my favourite songs and dances!

This is just to impress you guys some more…not only am I rolling from front to back…I’m ALMOST rolling from back to my front now! that’s another milestone in the bag…booyah!

Look at what I got for halloween!

A stuffed Cow, it’s so soft and plush and…wait a minute!

That’s not a STUFFED COW…It’s ME, ELISE in a cow costume!

Mom and dad decided to take me out “Grazing” cuz they thought it’d be “fun”…do I look impressed?

NO…definitely not impressed!

But eventually they came back to their senses and brought me out for some trick-or-treating with our church – we collected ALL these bags of food for the food bank!

 

And that was my first Halloween!
